The hinge uses two 3\/4\" permanently lubricated heim joints to open the rack. This ensures a smooth and easy hinge to maintain. Included with this rugged rack is our coveted Cam latch mechanism which is adjustable and offers many years of rattle free use. The rack is also fitted with our new Rack Lockout system which stops the open carrier at a safe location preventing it from swinging into the side of your truck and also back at you.
