The hinges use two 3\/4\" permanently lubricated heim joints to open the racks. This ensures a smooth and easy hinge to maintain. Included with these rugged racks are two of our coveted Cam latch mechanisms which are adjustable and offer many years of rattle free use. Each rack is also fitted with our new Rack Lockout system which stops the open carrier at a safe location preventing it from swinging into the side of your truck and also back at you.
